A wonderful snowy scene from Germany! Almost looks unreal doesn't it?? Also lovely stamps. I wish I knew what they said...haha. One looks like a very modern building..or perhaps they both have something to deal with the Jahre Deutsches Museum??

I believe this is my first card from China!! Very nice. I love cards that just kinda run off into the distance and make you wonder what is out there.

This card makes me smile. I am not sure which curse word the English equivalent is but it must be a bad one. Haha. It seems so forceful. I wish I knew how to pronounce it. haha. Oh well. =)

A wonderful card from Finland! Kind of odd...but it is still pretty nice. Kinda makes you think doesnt it? I wonder what possessed the photographer to take this picture..and then what intrigued someone so much that they decided to make it into a postcard.

A great promo card that I received from Ukraine! I loved the violin on the front. I have always wanted to know how to play violin. The postmark clearly reads "Ukraine" which is nice cause I wasn't sure at first as to where it had come from. The stamp is nice too! I really wish I knew what the front says...oh well.

A postcard from stateside! Portland, Oregon. It looks wonderful from the looks of this card. Haha. The view of Mt. Hood is nice! I bet there is good hiking there. So lets see...this is the second state from the US...only 48 more to go ( not including territories). The postmark and stamp are much the same as on the one from Boston..but why not post the backs too anyway?

Another wonderful postcard from the Netherlands. This one is very simple, yet still just as lovely as the others. I like that it is really a postcard of about 4 colors. Or well, I guess I should say shades. But regardless, I thought it was a nice composition. But my favorite part of this card was the stamps on the back side! They are comics! I wish she had translated what it said for me. Oh well. It is still enjoyable.

Pocket watches from Finland! This card made me smile soooo much. I happen to find pocket watches incredibly fascinating. The card description says, "I found the secret of time in Lapland." Which is funny enough...however, Minna translated the front for me. It says, "Oh no! I forgot my watch!" Haha. Very funny and it did make me laugh. She also mentioned the ash from the volcano and how it might affect the travel of the card. Though I got it without too much delay. The stamp is incredibly cute! It is a carrot! But I believe she added the hat and eyebrows and such, though still a very nice stamp. haha

Postcard from the Netherlands!! I absolutely love this one cause it is a "bundle of famous Dutch tulips." Marianne sent them to me cause she knew this would be one of the first cards of my collection. The colors were pretty amazing. And I mean really, how could you not want to smile after seeing this card? The stamps were pretty neat as well. And you can clearly see the Rotterdam postmark.

Ah, Barcelona... This postcard is so wonderful! I love the church on the front of it. Also the reflection in the water is nice as well. Luiseme also informed me that this is a UNESCO site as well. Which is awesome cause it is my first one! The stamp on the back was quite interesting..I believe it is of a satellite dish of sorts. haha. But colorful nonetheless.

A postcard from Trinidad! I am so lucky to be getting cards from a variety of places. I do hope this continues. I don't know why, but I expected to be getting cards from the same places all the time. Oh well. haha. Also I really do love the postcards of buildings. And the church on the front of this card reminds me of a church I once saw in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Oh the memories...

Awesome! A postcard from Poland! This one comes from the city of Wroclaw, the fourth largest in Poland. Unlike the last card from Romania this card has extremely legible postmarkings. Also the stamps are lovely as well. I really enjoy seeing the different stamps from different countries, comparing and contrasting them to our own.

Another day, another postcard.... This time it was from Romania! The card is a picture of a bust/statue at the local art museum. I love the way the gold of the statue is set off by the wonderful green color of the background. The stamps are quite lovely as well. The only thing I wish was better was that the postmarks would have been more legible...OH well...maybe next time!
